Contact: Elizabeth May
I completed a 4 year Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Leisure Marketing Degree in England, which included one year working as Events Assistant in London. After working as Marketing & Event Coordinator in a small country manor hotel, I flew to sunnier climates here in Perth in July 2008. My Mum is Australian, so emigrating was made a lot easier with an Australian passport!
I am currently working as Sales Support Coordinator at Perth Convention Exhibition Centre and enjoying the role with all the benefits and opportunities it has to offer me. I work with a range of clients and get exposed to many different events. I won the AIOP 2009 WA Young Office Professional of the Year, which introduced me to a whole new group of wonderful people and great networking opportunities. I am new to Australia and therefore keen to develop my knowledge of the local and na industries through being a member of AIOP and on the Committee, which will ultimately help me on my journey up the ladder in the events world.
