The South West Branch was officially charted on 29th August 2003, an historical day for the WA Division, this being it's first branch.
Unfortunately, as a result of the economic downturn and a lack of interest in its activities by SW office professionals in the last 12 months, the Branch has reluctantly opted to downgrade to a Steering Committee.
It is hoped that with an upturn in global economics, SW members and guests will once again be in a position to enjoy functions hosted by a re-established SW Branch. It is anticipated that the SW Steering Committee will organise one or two professional development opportunities in the next year or so, with a view to re-activating interest in AIOP activities by SW office professionals.
The 2010 AIOP WA Division Office Professional of the Year Awards will be announced at the Office Professionals' Day Breakfast on Friday, 30 April 2010 at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.
Eligible SW office professionals are welcome to nominate for these prestigious awards.
