Shervaun Steenson

Shervaun is an enthusiastic professional who has worked in the office environment in Western Australia for over 25 years, for the most part in the public sector as an analyst, administrator and executive assistant.

An advocate for the administration profession; Shervaun is passionate about raising recognition of administration careers and continuation of relevant development opportunities.

Pina has worked in Local Government for seven years.  Prior to that, she worked in Real Estate.  Pina is also a qualified Education Assistant and worked for 15 years with the Education Department.  Pina and her partner also run an electrical business, specialising in automated gates.

Pina has raised a family of three children and has three grandchildren.  She enjoys socialising with friends and family and hosting dinner parties.

Sonia Mackay is an office professional with over 15 years experience in a variety of administration roles.  Currently employed as Executive Officer of Rise Network, a not for profit located in Perth, Sonia has worked predominantly in the financial and community services sectors during her career. In her current role she acts in the capacity of assistant to the CEO and Board, manages the Corporate Administration team and provides support to the ICT, Project and Governance areas of the organisation.

Excited about learning, Sonia is currently completing a post-graduate qualification and enjoys the opportunities AIOP provides to meet with like-minded office professionals, gain new perspectives and develop her knowledge and skills.



Lorraine Jones

An Advanced Skills Lecturer for Challenger Institute of Technology in the business and information technology school, Lorraine has a teaching career spanning more than 25 years.

She has trained students from beginner to advanced levels as well as acting in the roll of program manager from time to time in the past four years.  In 2011 Lorraine was selected to participate in Challenger Institute’s Leadership Development Program.  Prior to teaching, Lorraine held positions in the banking sector and as administrator for an amateur sporting association.

Lorraine represents the Australian Institute of Office Professionals on the Board of the Financial Administrative and Professional Services Training Council.

Glenda has joined AIOP recently having worked in the Not for Profit sector managing a team of mental health professionals. With prior experience in the banking industry, Glenda is looking forward to exploring opportunities as an office professional.

Currently, Glenda is volunteering at West TV in an EA role and providing some backstage support for a local theatre production. Having many varied interests, Glenda loves to keep busy with travel, long walks and good food and wine, preferably all at the same time!

Anat recently obtained a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Curtin University of Technology.

With an educational background in the arts, Anat has completed a BA in Tel-Aviv University and performed a variety of administrative roles for over 15 years, mostly in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.

In the current rapidly changing and challenging business world, Anat aims to utilise her interpersonal skills, creativity and resourcefulness to stay connected, engaged and involved.

Kristy Rewell is a marketing and business development professional with more than 15 years experience, working in a variety of roles and sectors over the years.  Kristy has been living and working in Asia.  Having recently returned to Perth, she is excited about working in the Perth market once again.

Kristy is passionate about helping create opportunities and the mentoring of young professionals and is a member of a number of Perth – based committees in support of this.

Kristy was the winner of AIOP’s Office Professional of the Year award in 2010 and we are delighted to have her return as a part of the WA Division Committee of Management.
