President's Report

March 2010

Good afternoon all

Can you believe it’s March already? We had a fantastic February meeting with 30 attendees and hope to see you all back again this month.

Our March meeting of the AIOP Mildura Branch will be on Monday 15 March 2010 at the Cottonwood Motel, Deakin Avenue, Mildura commencing at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start.

Our guest speakers for the meeting Lara Collins and Kim Slingo from ANI – Australia National Institute. Lara and Kim will be speaking on the topic of Upskilling and how easy and affordable it can be for us, being very busy office professionals! These ladies have a huge level of knowledge and experience in the Training and Education industry and are thrilled to be able to share this with you all. This is a perfect topic to follow on from Freda’s message on CVs last meeting.

Cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members which includes a one course meal. Guests are most welcome to attend so if you would like to bring a colleague or friend to find out more about AIOP, please make the opportunity to come along!

RSVPs for this meeting must be received by Nicky Keath by noon Friday 12 March 2010 for catering purposes.

We are still looking for volunteers to join the Breakfast committee. This is a fantastic opportunity to have input into our Annual Breakfast and gain some extra skills at the same time. Please email Nicky if wish to join.
