Profile : Belinda Waters
Work
In 1988 Belinda started in her first administration role as an accounts clerk, and since then has worked in internal sales; accounts payable/receivable; and office administration. She has now found her calling as an Executive Assistant, working in the Brisbane office of Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), an international consulting engineering company with well over 11,000 staff worldwide.
Philosophy
Belinda is passionate about ongoing learning and encouraging others to continue their own personal and professional development. PB has an internal Administration Certification program, and Belinda represents PB Australia-Pacific on the international certification committee. She recently travelled to Tampa in Florida, USA, for the latest round of certification assessments, and to plan the next round.
Hobbies
Away from the office, Belinda trains and trials her Australian kelpie Oatland Stormboy in dog obedience, and rides horses and motorbikes. Last year she got her open motorbike licence, and qualified as an Open Horse Endurance rider (successfully completing 1 x 20km ride, 2 x 40km rides, and 3 x 80km rides). Belinda also travels, both locally and overseas, and she will be spending this Christmas in Switzerland with her sister and family.
