Welcome to the Northern Territory Division

The Northern Territory Division of AIOP is a dynamic and progressive organization, providing professional development and networking opportunities for members and their colleagues.

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Welcome to the Northern Territory Division home page.  The NT Division Committee of Management works hard to bring relevant and current themes to our monthly presentations, together with professional development and educational opportunities for for it’s members.

Through our generous local sponsors we are able to give members many benefits including the opportunity to apply for a scholarship through Charles Darwin University, discount training courses with the Darwin Human Resource & Computer Academy, discounts through many varied businesses in and around Darwin and the opportunity to network and meet like minded office professionals.

NT Division – winners of the National Recruitment Award for Membership for 2009 is looking forward to growing our membership further in 2010 and with our new online Membership Applications now functioning, joining couldn’t be any easier.

Our major event for 2010 is our Office Professionals Breakfast, being held on Friday 7th May at Darwin’s wonderful new Convention Centre, make sure you put this in your diary, more information will be released soon.

Thank you for visiting our web page, if you have any suggestions or would like more information on AIOP please contact any of our Committee Members listed.

NOT A MEMBER YET ? - WELL WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!

There is often very little professional development available throughout our workplace for secretaries, administrators or office professionals and it is AIOP’s aim to fill that gap. Apart from national partnerships enjoyed by AIOP, the NT is privileged to have local relationships with NT Partners Darwin HR & Computer Academy, Charles Darwin University and Chamber of Commerce providing many opportunities for self development towards your career.

Becoming a member provides these benefits and more so why not consider Individual membership or perhaps your company would prefer to join as a Corporate member giving them four nominated representatives. Organisations acknowledge their Secretaries, Personal Assistants and Executive Administrators are their greatest asset and remember your membership is tax deductible.

If you would like further information please do not hesitate to contact Linda Heidstra FAIOP membershipnt@aiop.com.au or Telephone 0438323180
