Wendy is currently relieving as a Recruitment Officer for TAFE NSW – Hunter Institute. She has been with TAFE since 1993 starting as a clerical trainee and has worked in variety of roles. Wendy is currently enrolled in the Cert IV Frontline Managers and Cert IV in Business Management and plans to continue into the Diploma. She has been a member of AIOP since 2003 and only recently joined the committee to give back to the branch and become a more active member.

Helen is the Assistant to the Registrar of Newcastle Grammar School, a role which she has been in for 14 months. Her primary role is processing of new enrolments and maintenance of the Schools student database. It is a very varied role which she enjoys thoroughly, although very hectic at times. Her background has mainly been as Executive and Personal Assistant roles within various Northern Territory Government departments and also within the Private Sector. She moved to Newcastle from Darwin in 2002.

Glenda is the welcoming face on Reception at BHP Billiton NTC. "I love my job, meeting new and interesting people from all over the world who visit the laboratories". Glenda and husband Phil have downsized in their Seachange to the coast and left their 2 adult sons in Wellington NSW to look after the family home. Glenda is an avid handicrafts and needlework enthusiast and of a weekend, loves hitting the road with Phil on their trike.

Kerry has worked for Complete Staff Solutions as a Recruitment Consultant and Human Resource Trainer for the past 13 years. She has recruited for a diverse range of positions for both permanent and temporary roles. Kerry and her husband Des, love to travel and have recently returned from several months travelling throughout America, Europe, the United Kingdom and Asia.

Cath has been employed in the administrative field for the past 15 years. Cath started out at an engineering firm straight from school, then progressed to a local Accounting firm, before gaining her current position within a Government organisation. Cath is currently the Personal Assistant to the HR Manager, and the Assistant Chief of CSIRO, Energy Technology.
Each year, Cath rallies friends and colleagues to submit a team at the Cancer Council's Relay for Life event.
Just recently, Cath has also become an Avon sales representative, and not only offers the traditional "door to door" sales, but also conducts "pamper parties" in people's homes.
Erin has held the role of Member Services Officer for Hunter Business Chamber for 4 years and been with the Chamber for 5 years. Erin’s tasks include organising around 70 events a year for the Chamber’s members including the prestigious Hunter Business Awards. In her spare time she volunteers for The NSW Cancer Council’s Relay for Life organising committee and teaches youth horse riding at Pony Club. On the weekends she enjoys horse riding, camping, gardening and anything outdoors

Kate has been employed at Tomago Aluminium for the past 3 years. Her current role as Executive Assistant to the CEO is extremely challenging. The diversity of the position and working with senior management is both motivating and enjoyable. Before taking on this role, Kate worked as a Training Administrator in one of the company's production departments.
Prior to her employment at Tomago, Kate lived in Tasmania where she worked as a Training Administrator for a food distribution company called PFD Food Services.
Kate hopes that being a member of the AIOP committee will show other young people that they too can be a part of this great organisation.

Helen is a Personal Assistant with Prosperity Advisers in Newcastle, the largest independent Financial Services firm in NSW. She has worked with Prosperity for five years and became involved with AIOP in 2006 when Prosperity joined as a corporate member. Having a career history that covers the mining and professional services sectors, Helen has a background in administration, marketing and public affairs. She is delighted with the opportunity to assist the Newcastle committee.
