Awards

About the Awards

In NSW there are two awards that we present annually, The Office Professional of the Year Award and the Young Office Professional Award. These prestigious awards are presented at our Office Professionals' Day Breakfast.

Award winners are selected for their outstanding achievements as an Office Professional, and also for their ongoing commitment to the industry. These awards are highly recognised within the industry and present many opportunities for future career development.

Eligibility:

Nominations will be accepted from applicants employed in either the private or public sector. There are no entry restrictions regarding age, gender, association membership or status.

The categories are:

• Office Professional of the Year Award: five plus years experience
• Young Office Professional of the Year Award: five years or less experience

Non Eligibility:

• Past recipients of the two awards
• Members of the AIOP NSW Division Committee of Management and its associated committees
• Employees of associated sponsors and suppliers

Nomination Process:

1. Complete the nomination form 
2. Attach your resumé with one reference
3. Include responses to the Selection Criteria

Judging Process:

• The Judging Panel will consist of up to four
• Nominations will be short listed and the finalists will be interviewed in person by the Judging Panel
• Finalists must be present at the Office Professionals' Day Breakfast to receive the award
• The award winner will be announced during the Breakfast proceedings
• Any travel/accommodation expenses to participate in judging and to be present on the day of the breakfast are the responsibility of the nominee/nominator.
