Welcome to the Australian Institute of Office Professionals.
Australia’s only professional association for all Office Professionals.
We would like to invite you to come along to any functions as a guest to see if what AIOP offers is going to suit you. If it does, AIOP offers many levels of membership.
AIOP is able to offer many aspects of professional development to its members. We have opportunities for education for a Graduate Certificate of Business (Executive Administration) through Swinburne University or a range of programmes from seminars, workshops, residential courses through to Certificates and Postgraduate Awards tailored to specific industry requirments at Charles Sturt University by remote learning.
A new membership process available to anybody who would like to join our Institute, even if you are not an office professional, but would like to keep in touch with what our profession is doing. If you would like to use the postnominals, then you apply as normal by sending in your resume with your application. We have had many enquiries from sponsors, employers and other interested parties who are not office professionals, to become members of our association.
In this current economic climate, it is becoming increasingly important to belong to an association that is relevent to your career. AIOP is Australia’s only professional organisation for office professionals and covers many roles including PA's, EA's, Administrators, Office Managers and many more positions that work in the field of Administration. With the word Member of AIOP on your resume, it can take you to a higher level as employers see that you are serious about your career. Attending functions at any of our Divisions or Branches around Australia will keep you updated with the latest trends with loads of very useful and informative information to assist you in your increasingly busier roles.
Since 1963 AIOP has gone through many changes to become what it is today and it is now primarily involved with improving the profile of office professionals in the business community and increasing our members’ educational levels.
