Conference: Call for Speakers


The 2019 AIOP National Conference is being held at Esplanade Fremantle, Western Australia on 28 October 2019.

Individuals are invited to prepare and submit a presentation proposal of no more than 300 words detailing the key theme/s explored, presentation style and specific AV requests.

All proposals will be reviewed by the committee and other key stakeholders. Presentations will be selected based on their relevance and fit within the overall conference program. Speakers will be notified of the outcome of their submission via e-mail.

Note: Speakers accepted for presentations wishing to attend the conference will be offered discounted registration for the 28 October.

Conference dates 28 October (29 October is workshops only).


Oral presentations will generally range between 10-30 minutes in duration.The committee may suggest joint presentations or panel presentations where topics are aligned. Innovative and engaging presentations are encouraged.

AIOP is Australia’s only professional association for all Office Professionals which covers a huge array of job titles which were formally secretaries, clerks, and now covers office managers and all administrative personnel who work in an office. Since 1963 AIOP has gone through many changes to become what it is today and it is now primarily involved with improving the profile of office professionals in the business community and increasing our members’ educational levels.


Terms and Conditions 
1. All presenters selected to present will be offered a 10% discount on the registration for the day of their presentation.

  1. By submitting a presentation you give consent to the event organiser to film the presentation and distribute any slides used (if the organiser wishes too).
  2. All presentations must be original work. The speaker is responsible for the accuracy of the abstract.
  3. All submissions must be completed electronically via email If you are unable to submit in this manner, please contact the conference secretariat for further information.
